Purpose of the Website

Johnston County Released Inmates is a private reference resource with no authority over the Johnston County Sheriff's Office, Johnston County Detention Center, North Carolina Department of Adult Correction, courts, parole or probation offices, federal agencies, or immigration authorities. It does not store official government records. It cannot confirm custody, order or carry out a release, change a record, accept a filing, or act for any public office.

The site points visitors toward the Johnston County Sheriff roster, NC DAC offender records, North Carolina court Portal, and other public release resources. Some features may connect a visitor with an outside research or search provider. Those links and tools are aids to locating sources, not official determinations from the office that created a record.

Acceptable Use Rules

You may use the site only for lawful purposes and in a way that respects the rights, safety, and access of others. In particular, you agree that you will not:
